Product Description

These models have a durable, painted steel casing.

Threaded lifting points in top of casing suitable for screw rod or lifting eyes as required. • High efficiency heat exchanger made from Copper tubes & Aluminium fins. • High Air flow plate fans for transferring large kW and giving good throw. • IP65 Fan motors with thermal protection included as standard. • Completely enclosed in a sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, galvanised steel case, powder painted. • Water connections with ¾ - 1” BSP threads. • Adjustable metal blade louvre on front face of heater for deflecting the air downwards. • Fan and heat exchanger can easily be removed for maintenance / cleaning purposes. • Maximum Water temperature / pressure : 110°c / 16 bar

Operation Hot water (usually supplied from a gas boiler, biomass boiler, CHP unit or heat pump etc.) enters the heater matrix and conducts its heat into the metal tubes & fins. Cold air enters the fan and then flows through the hot heater matrix. Thus heating the air before it exits the heater louvres and into the room. This type of heater is much more efficient than standard convector heaters that do not have the fan to move the air. Meaning a high KW output for it’s compact size can be achieved. The kW duties of the heaters can be matched to the heat load that you have available. For larger rooms it could be beneficial to split the duty across several heaters. So for example if you have a 80kW boiler, you could use 4 x 20kw heaters and position them in the four corners of the room to help distribute the heat evenly. For concentrated heat in one area or where plumbing is to be kept to a minimum, just one 80kw heater could suffice.
