The alarm will send alerts to your phone, allowing you to take action even when you're away from home.
Nest Protect speaks up to provide clear notifications about smoke or carbon monoxide, indicating the location of the issue so you know what to do. It also offers a friendly heads-up before sounding the alarm, giving you a chance to hush it from your phone if it's a non-emergency situation. The device performs self-tests over 400 times a day, ensuring that it is always in proper working condition. When you turn off the lights, it emits a quick green glow to indicate that everything is functioning correctly.
In addition to its safety features, Nest Protect offers convenient functions. The built-in pathlight illuminates your way when you walk underneath the alarm, serving as a night light. It meets high safety standards and has a long lifespan of up to 10 years. The battery-powered version can be easily installed anywhere in your home without the need for wiring.
Please note that the product does not meet the Scottish standard for fire and smoke alarms and should not be used in homes in Scotland.
