The John Guest Speedfit Stem Elbow Push-Fit Fitting is designed for connecting two equal-sized Speedfit push-fit fittings, creating a 90-degree swivel-type connection. This stem elbow allows for a 90-degree male-to-female connection, making it an ideal coupler for appliances like cold water storage tanks. Installing the fitting is simple – just push the push-fit fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock it in place. To demount the connection, unlock the nut by hand, push the collet towards the body of the push-fit fitting, and pull the pipe to release.
