The John Guest Speedfit Super Seal Pipe Insert is a specialized solution designed to connect Speedfit pipes to Speedfit push-fit fittings. These inserts provide crucial additional support to pipework, maintaining the smooth and round ends of pipes and minimizing shape loss caused during cutting. The unique feature of John Guest Speedfit Super Seal Pipe Inserts is the presence of dual O-rings, which offer even greater sealing security compared to standard inserts. The first O-ring, located on the insert's stem, prevents water from passing between the inside of the pipe wall and the outer surface of the insert. The second O-ring is positioned at the end of the insert, sealing inside the push-fit fitting and creating a seal between the main pipe and the push-fit fitting. When used with Speedfit push-fit fittings, these super seal inserts create a multi-seal due to the main O-ring seal present in all push-fit fittings.
