Overview
McAlpine 31.75 mm x 31.75 mm self-closing waste valve with tundish adapter features British Standard Pipe female inlet nut x compression connections. The valve's membrane opens under water pressure to allow discharge to freely flow before closing to form a seal designed to prevent odours and sewer gases absconding entering the building.
- Can be fitted in both horizontal and vertical position
- Includes BSP female inlet nut and universal compression outlet
- Comes with a rich white finish
- No water seal so it can never dry out through evaporation or lack of use of an appliance as the membrane remains sealed
- Available in different sizes
- Not recommended for use with shower trays unless there is access for maintenance
- This valve can be fitted in both horizontal and vertical position
