The McAlpine non-return valve will help prevent foul odour entering the building. The valve must be installed in the vertical position and placed where it is clearly visible for inspection. This non-return valve may be installed to remove the discharge condensate from a boiler, air conditioning unit or cold water cistern when the discharge is being installed into a waste or soil pipe.
