Overview:
The Glow-worm door seal is a spare part designed for the heat exchanger of various Glow-worm boiler models, including CXI, HXI, Ultimate, Ultracom, Ultracom2, Betacom, Easicom, Eden, Energy, Xtramax, SXI, Ultrapower, and British Gas appliances. The heat exchanger is responsible for transferring heat from the boiler's burner to water. In all boilers, a primary heat exchanger is present, which uses the burner's heat to raise the water temperature within the system. Combi boilers, on the other hand, also feature a secondary heat exchanger that enables heat transfer between different closed systems. The door seal's purpose is to prevent water leaks or the escape of harmful gases as they pass through the boiler.
