The Aico Ei3016 Optical Smoke Alarm is a high-performance smoke detector designed to detect slow, smouldering fires. It features a tried and tested optical smoke sensor that provides reliable and accurate detection. The smoke chamber design, integrated insect screen, and automatic dust compensation mechanism reduce the risk of false alarms.
This smoke alarm is equipped with AudioLINK technology, allowing real-time data extraction via its sounder to a smartphone or tablet using a dedicated app. The generated report includes activation dates, sensor status, and alarm life, which can be emailed for property records. For wireless interconnection and data extraction, the alarm is compatible with the Ei3000MRF SmartLINK module.
The Aico Ei3016 Smoke Alarm is designed to work seamlessly with other Aico mains powered devices, making it suitable for system upgrades or expansions. It is compatible with hard-wired, RadioLINK, and hybrid interconnecting systems. The unique self-monitoring dust compensation mechanism incorporated into the alarm's software enables it to tolerate increased dust contamination compared to conventional optical alarms.
The smoke alarm is mains powered with a 10-year rechargeable lithium cell backup, ensuring continuous operation and reliability. It comes with an easi-fit base for easy installation and a 10-year life expectancy for long-term performance.
